Liqui-Shell™ by Remedia

Introducing Liqui-Shell

Liqui-Shell is an eco-friendly, green aqueous multi-surface technology that represents a proven waste management best practice. Utilizing proprietary catalytic technology, Liqui-Shell initiates an environmentally safe catalytic reaction to alter and stabilize contaminants without harmful residues. It addresses hydrocarbon off-gassing, odors, ammonia, heavy metals, and provides comprehensive soil stabilization—all essential for modern, sustainable waste management practices.

Remedia Innovation

Efficient Application Systems

Versatile ADC Application

Our innovative systems deliver high-powered deployment of Liqui-Shell.

Vehicle mounted skid systems
  • Designed for mobility with continuous re-positioning while spraying large or distributed areas (e.g., lagoons, manholes, lift stations, tank exteriors, tree-line spraying).
  • Usually paired with hydraulic/pneumatic pump or PTO drivn to handle high volumes or high pressures.

Advantages

Rapid Deployment – drive, spray, move on; ideal for routes requiring multiple spray sites per day.
High Coverage Efficiency – spray while parked or moving slowly, minimizing downtime.
Built-in Tank Capacity reduces refill frequency.
Power Flexibility – can run high-pressure guns, foam cannons, or injectors for fog/odor control.
Adaptable for dust suppression, odor control, corrosion inhibitors, hydroseeding.

Fixed/Mobile Tripod Systems
  • Tripod or fixed stands with spray nozzles set at adjustable heights and angles.

  • Fed by hoses connected to external tanks or water sources.

  • Can be stationary (fixed in place for consistent application) or manually moved between locations.

Advantages

Precision Targeting – ensures chemical contact where needed (e.g., inside lift station wells, pit walls, sumps).
Hands-off operation once set up, reducing labor while spraying.
Ideal for confined or fixed sites where vehicle access isn’t possible.
Can run continuously for odor/corrosion control without an operator present.
Lower upfront cost than vehicle-mounted systems.

How it Works

Catalytic Reaction

Liqui-Shell’s proprietary aqueous catalysts directly interact with contaminated materials. This green chemistry triggers a catalytic reaction, breaking down the molecular structure of hydrocarbons, ammonia, and other hazardous substances.

Molecular Transformation

Once activated, the ADC process transforms harmful emissions into stable, non-toxic compounds. This molecular transformation effectively mitigates pollutants, stabilizes heavy metals, and significantly reduces off-gassing.

Stabilization & Encapsulation

Liqui-Shell creates a protective shell around treated waste materials, preventing further degradation, odors, and emissions. This encapsulation offers a secure, long-lasting barrier that maintains environmental safety and aligns with waste management best practice standards.

Complete Waste Coverage

Liqui-Shell ensures uniform coverage and stabilization across extensive areas, making it ideal for managing large-scale waste environments such as landfills and contaminated sites.

EPA/DfE recognition does not constitute endorsement of our products. The Design for the Environment logo signifies that the formulas for our products, as we have represented to the EPA, contain ingredients with more positive health and environmental characteristics than conventional products. EPA/DfE relies solely on our integrity and good faith for information on the composition, ingredients, and attributes of our products. EPA/DfE has not independently identified, i.e., via chemical analysis, the ingredients in our products, nor evaluated any of the non-ingredient claims we have made. EPA/DfE expresses its judgment and professional opinion only as to the environmental and human health characteristics of our products, based on currently available information and scientific understanding.

Solterra™ is the only complete line of cleaning, remediation and odor elimination products to be recognized for safer chemistry by the EPA’s Design for the Environment (DfE) program. Solterra™ products were found worthy of recognition after passing a rigorous third party toxicology review and an EPA scientific review. For the DfE label, Solterra™ partners with the EPA to maintain the highest standards of product safety.

What is the Design for Environment Program?

Design for the Environment (DfE) works with environmental organizations and industry to protect human health and promote sustainable chemistry. DfE’s Safer Product Labeling Program helps to protect families and the environment by distinguishing household cleaning products, like soaps, detergents, and cleaners that are safer for people and the planet. The EPA’s scientific team rigorously evaluates each product for its impact on both human and environmental health.

What Does the DfE Label Mean?

EPA allows safe products to carry the Design for the Environment (DfE) label. When products carry the DfE label it means a scientific review team has screened each ingredient for potential human health and environmental effects and that—based on currently available information, EPA predictive models, and expert judgment—the product contains only those ingredients that pose the least concern among chemicals in their class.
