IT WORKS

Remedia™ Industrial Odor Eliminator works primarily by chemically altering the source of the odor, effectively eliminating it. A real world example: At hog operations, our technology has reduced the odors from ammonia and the rotten egg gas of hydrogen sulfide by 70 to 99%.

EASY TO USE

Remedia™ Industrial Odor Eliminator can be quickly and easily spray applied directly to affected areas such as landfills and animal stalls. Basically, it’s a liquid you spray right on the source of the odor, right when you need it. You don’t need to continually mask the problem with larger amounts of perfume-laden products. Other in situ methods, including soil vapor extraction, air sparging and groundwater extraction are all very expensive and signifi cantly less eco-friendly. Using our products ex situ at a landfill is also a smart choice. It remediates significantly faster than microbial treatments and allows you to better utilize landfill space and resources.

What is the Design for Environment Program?

 

Design for the Environment (DfE) works with environmental organizations and industry to protect human health and promote sustainable chemistry. DfE’s Safer Product Labeling Program helps to protect families and the environment by distinguishing household cleaning products, like soaps, detergents, and cleaners that are safer for people and the planet. The EPA’s scientific team rigorously evaluates each product for its impact on both human and environmental health.

 

What Does the DfE Label Mean?

 

EPA allows safe products to carry the Design for the Environment (DfE) label. When products carry the DfE label it means a scientific review team has screened each ingredient for potential human health and environmental effects and that—based on currently available information, EPA predictive models, and expert judgment—the product contains only those ingredients that pose the least concern among chemicals in their class.
